I was listening to Raidió na Gaeltachta yesterday when this came on, which was a nice surprise as I'd somehow never heard it before. Sung in lovely Connemara Irish by Róisín Elsafty with a sprinkle of Arabic (Hosni aleikum ya Falistin) for Ireland-Palestine Solidarity. Full lyrics below the vid in YouTube.

Roisin came to my attention years ago with an unaccompanied version of Eleanor a Run, she married an Egyptian apparently and as you say has a smattering of Arabic now
