The Duchess of Sussex has been absent from the spotlight all year but that hasn't stopped her detractors from taking aim. Author Tom Bower is criticising Meghan for her alleged role in Prince Harry's memoir Spare, claiming she "dictated this agenda" and "groomed" him.
But his comments are in contrast to recent claims by unnamed sources close to the couple who say the duchess had reservations about her husband writing a tell-all book.
Bower, who last year wrote the highly critical Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors, claims Meghan used Harry to further her own interests.
"She wanted to be Angelina Jolie; a celebrity and a famous influencer," Bower said, as reported in The Sun. "But she was irrelevant. Being with Harry gave her that opportunity and she 'played him' from the start. Harry was groomed by Meghan. Her wedding guests were all Hollywood, not family, which shows her agenda. She always wanted to go back to Hollywood."
He previously claimed the duchess was the driving force behind Harry's book. "His book is really Meghan's. Meghan is the person who has dictated this agenda."
However, this week, others have claimed the opposite.
Ah yes the age-old truth that it's always the woman's fault, even when it's the man's. Like the lesson from the afternoon tv murder slot: blokes doing a murder is always a woman's fault (either his mum, norma bates style, or some other connected woman). Poor ickle men, they've been dominated an controlled by their chattels ever since they first invented eve/pandora to blame everything on.
(i prefer the 'gnostic'/marcion version of eve anyway (well, sans the antisemitic vibes of the demiurge anyway)
