I still a bit surprised at the way our mainstream media has revealed itself to be almost totally subservient to the state in wartime. I imagined there would have been a modicum of independence, criticism or opposition.
It's saddening to see that the only criticism allowed comes from people like Tucker Carlson or Christopher Hitchens. Where are the liberals and 'left-leaners'? Startlingly it's them who appear most aggressive and crusader-like, and have embraced the reactionary, nationalist forces who've hi-jacked politics in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
I am sorry Dovetail Joint. Do you really mean Peter Hitchens? I thought the Christopher Hitchens passed away many years ago. Please forgive me if I'm in error.
