The UK Labour Party has sunk so low into the stinking gutter of politics, that it's hard to understand how anyone with bare minimum of intelligence, morality and principles, could vote for them.

Why does Starmer always have that frightened stare, as if he’s scared of his own shadow? Does he have any idea who he is and what he believes? Is he forever uneasy because he knows how shallow and unreliable his thought processes are and that he might be found out? Must be agony to live your life always in doubt about your own identity — hence the frightened stare. It will cost the UK taxpayer £132bn to decommission all the UK’s civil nuclear sites and the work will not be completed for another 120 years, according to latest estimates. Report -- May 2022:

The 'loyalty' of these members of the Labour Party tribe, is really a ghastly thing to observe. That they are 'willing' to participate in their own public humilation, apologising, groveling... is painful to see. It shows I think that the 'left' of the Labour Party is totally unprepared for power, like Corbyn, and they simply lack what it takes to take it.
Not sure I get your drift, DJ. You regard Kim Johnson as part of "the left" of the Labour party? She has humiliated herself, grovelled and apologised, yes, but that's only because she doesn't want to lose her position and salary, nothing to do with being "unprepared for power". What could she do anyway, there are so few of "the left" left inside Labour that even if she was "prepared" for power there's nothing she could do. As for Corbyn, he had arguably a very slim chance of turning the party around and changing course, and with the backing of half a million members he might have succeeded, but he played by the rules of the game and the others didn't.
My point above was simply about Starmer and his demeanour of looking frightened all the time, even when he's trying to look decisive and strong. He's a hollow man and it's impossible to fake fortitude and willpower, and you can tell he knows it.

My point is, that there's nobody within the confines of the Labour Party, especially the MPs, who has the caliber required to mount even a symbolic 'offensive' against the leadership and the vile Starmer. They all seem to lack both smarts and courage. They look like political opportunists, and like Corbyn hack both rhetorical ability and backbone to use it.
