Dems/libs seem to like accusing DeSantis of being a fascist, but something tells me they won't be adding this to the charge sheet.

I've heard liberals or democrats talk about this a bit actually (not to stick up for (economic) liberals) - i guess it depends on the intended audience (and the particular dem/lib)

It amuses my simple mind that the headline could have been cut off to read "Ron DeSantis accused of illegal acts of torture against Guantanamo detainees when he was a Navy JAG off".

I doubt this will deter his target demographic and it's certainly not going to become a legal problem for him. I mean they made Haspel the head of the CIA after she copped to torturing people.
