One would imagine that this kind of story, the illegal sanctioning of a UK journalist by the government, would be a 'gift' to the Left and Labour MPs?
There are, whether one agrees with his 'politics' or not, important fundamental prinicples here, relating to freedom of speech, the press and the right to dissent, plus not being 'canceled' for questioning government propaganda about events in Ukraine.
But it seems everytime the Left are handed the ball, stand in front of an open goal... they miss the opportunity to score, or in Corbyn's case don't even bother to kick the ball at all, because, well, I'm not a footballer!
It really is a miserable sight to see these Labour MPs, every time they are faced with 'Power', like the recent debacle over criticism of Israel... they buckle almost immediately and humiliate themselves and apologize. I'm trying to think of a recent episode where the 'Left' chose not to retreat ignominiously and instead went on the offensive and hit back for a change.
