-This has essentially become the way of all national politicians: Take on the electorate who voted for you by pushing some element of the globalist agenda against their wishes. Set yourself up as a brave opponent of the rif-raf to get yourself noticed by the capitalist elite then even if you fail to shaft the plebs, you've proven yourself "onside" and can then play for a sinecure as head of some European US Western un-elected "international" organisation NGO or quango.
The whole process can be seen in miniature in Scotland with Sturgeon and the Gender Reform Bill which was never proposed in any manifesto and indeed was opposed by the public in every poll ever taken but achieved cross party support (i.e. they are all aware that this policy is part of the elite agenda) and thus it became the SNP's flagship policy in the "Ram in down the public throat" approach.
