Magdalen Berns - Dyke and alleged Transphobe

Keeping on the journey of enquiring what the heck all this Gender Theory is, or is it Queer Theory or just a blatant rip off.

Well, Magdalen Berns, a proud working class Dyke, was keen to expose the scam on Patreon and You Tube, she's bloody hilarious in her take downs pointing out the obvious for anyone with two brain cells - sad thing is, this woman died of a brain tumour in 2019 - she still comes in for stick, despite being dead.

Here she is discussing Alex Drummond of Stonewall, he's Welsh like me - not too sure if he gets a welcome in the valley's though:

There's nowt queer as folk. This phrase is actually rather... profound. People. are. ####ing. strange.

We can believe in stuff passionately, that's absolute nonsense, and then, as if that's not enough, burn non-believers in our passionate beliefs, alive for their transgressions! Granted, that's an extreme example, however, the passion of crowds can be awfully dangerous.

We seem, in the West, to have absorbed the lunacy of fanatical Muslims (which, to be fair, we created and supported for decades) like the Taliban and the ####ers in their ####ing Kaliphate. We, like the ancient Romans are staggering around grasping at straws to explain the collapse of our civilization and the 'golden age of the West. We create quasi-religious cults, like genderism, wokeness and extreme individualism, just like the Romans. Just destroy the patriarchy and all women will be free from exploitation and oppression! Step up Margaret Thatcher and Hillary Clinton and take a bow!

All that remains of this woman's legacy are 64 video's on YouTube - a very clever woman who got a degree in Physics and someone happy with their sexuality. The type of person I like sharing a beer with and having a chat - so its sad before she even hit 40.

Anyhow, the Drummond takedown is not the most extreme, there are far more take downs using logic and not emotion, that they genuinely are funny, make them worth watching - she's no hater and was brave to point out the obvious.

I think Berns did a really good job of challenging the rising tide of gender bullshit. What a tragedy she was taken from us too soon.

It's rather sad that she wasn't invited onto the BBC or given space in the Guardian to express herself to a wider audience.

The BBC, for example, scours the world for stories about gender and identity. They seem obssessed with the issue, regardless of how few people we are actually talking about. There's more space given to this than ####ing climate change, which is preposterous.

Here's the fact, the reasons why the MSM and our elected scab politicians pander to non-issues rather than address genuine issues is 'cost' related, i.e., no financial penalty is required to embrace woke issues, unless its the UK where the nut brigade, that's them who by choice claim to be something they ain't, demand loads of money to redress their alleged oppression and change sex - in the USA, it actually does cost money and its a big, profitable money spinner.

Now, when we look at ecological issues and addressing them, well, in reality that means doing away with ultra-capitalism, which actually ain't capitalism and spending huge sums, not only to clean up the planet but to transition to a genuine sustainable society, Christ, EV cars, Solar and Wind are not even sustainable as presently envisaged and cause as much degradation as fossil fuels.

Chris, thanks so much for posting. I'd not heard of her before, to this 76 year old white middle class retired professional she's an incredibly vital presence. Totally disarming. Totally charming. How sad she died so young. She's someone I'd have loved to have to dinner, probably once anyway!! My wife and four daughters have been telling me about the gender wokeism and its absurdities, but more than that, its underlying malevolence and danger. We saw the effect of that here in Auckland, and a political and media class that has bought into this delusional state hook line and brainless sinker.

Hi John,

Yes, Magdalen was a brave person confronting absurdities, sticking up for anti-discrimination and defending gays and feminists - a liberals, liberal shall we say in its genuine meaning.

For this poster, I've actually stayed silent on the whole Gender/Trans stuff, too much of a hot potato and thought commonsense sooner or later would prevail, well, as events in Auckland prove, commonsense has not happened, actually matters are getting worse and a majority of folks are getting rather alarmed, i.e,. those who are actually behaving like fascists are accusing their detractors of being fascists.

Now, for the record, ones been alarmed at what has been happening in the Green Party here in the UK, both in Scotland and South of the Border for quite a while, having been a member of the Green Party, like Labour, its turned into a swamp preferring to embrace Gender/Queer Ideology rather than push the ecology message - funny that, much like the SNP.

The question for liberals and the Left is how do we respond, it ain't going away and to be honest it constitutes a danger to our sons and daughters.

First priority is to recognise that some people do have medical conditions that impact their specific gender and in a humane society these people need assisting - they did not choose to have a medical condition, so discrimination is a no, no.

Further, many, many folks have psychological issues over sex/gender, so severe that they self harm or commit suicide. Again, in a humane society all necessary help should be rendered, even, and in extreme cases, this may require surgical intervention. And this is all time consuming and bloody expensive, but should never be denied.

Then we have those who have no medical or psychological condition whatsoever. Well, if folks want to cross dress or engage in activities I myself don't engage in, its none of my business. However, I do draw the line when what seems to be happening is Cult behaviour, driven by crass ideas and pushed on to University campuses, not only that, this tiny, tiny group of individuals expects society to conform to their own narcissism and provide services that are denied to others - that ain't right, but its happening - see Scotland.

In a nutshell, sex/gender is not a fashion, its not something you can change day to day, except that's what's being pushed, i.e., its fluid, when in reality I'm afraid, based on the science, it ain't. Me, I stick to the science.

I can't remember this, but was active on the Blog.

Since covered last, and with events in Scotland, plus a desire by Drakeford in Wales to push Self I.D. its got much worse, in the meantime they ignore all the tough stuff and pander to a tiny, tiny minority of folks who by the time they are 50 will regret actions in their youths, much like many regret getting tattoos, except this is far more damaging.

Way back in the late 60's smart people whith influence, money, and power, were deeply concerned with the growth of 'radical Marxist' ideology on university campuses.

Seemingly, it was decided to undermine this dangerous trend by nudging schools away from 'class economics' and towards studies related to 'individualism'. The left, who found themselves banging against a brick wall of entrenched power and wealth, were 'steered' and 'prodded' towards the path of least resistance, which was th study of 'gender' and 'identities', which whilst appear to offer a 'radical' alternative to fundamental questions about the nature of society, actually, did the opposite for the most part, because they diverted attention away from class and power under a capitalist system.

Now, half a century later one sees the results. The left made to look absurd and ridiculous and alienated from the vast majority of ordinary people, wasting their energies on a 'mirage', and this is tragically ironic, at time when class and growing economic inequalities have never been greater in the modern era.

Yes, without doubt that conversation has shifted and subverted by ptb.

I recall going to a lecture by a gay marxist in the late 60s. It was unusual, but then, at the time, it was fun in a sense there were no barriers to conversations. I also recall seeing shows by gay maoists commune in the early 70s. Avant garde and all that.

There is a similar shift in pop/rock music from 60s onwards. What used to be just fun, the capitalism took it seriously enough and started making money and we ended up with crappy vanilla products (date unspecified) - it wasn't of the people and by the people, but for the consumers.

Getting back to the main point, we are being played now, once the ptb knew which buttons to push. Once this conversation moves into institutions like politics and schools, check your wallet. It's like a dystopian nightmare and we are here for the ride, like it or not.

Here we are folks indulging in a Trans Ideology dialogue, so, and despite what numerous NGO's wish to push, regardless of what 'captured' legislative bodies wish to push we cannot change the reality, namely, however much intervention a male or female have to have their body appear to the gender role they assign to themselves, you can't change a male to a female, or a female to a male, unless we've had some major scientific breakthrough, which has not happened.

Again and again it is now argued that Males or Females can change sex, this is a scientific impossibility, they can pretend as much as they like but can't buck the scientific reality, so why this nonsense is being pandered too is beyond this poster.

Human behavior is... complex, as are what we believe to be true.

It seems like sociology and anthropology have been shoved aside, recently. Can anyone remember the last time they heard an anthropologist interviewed on the BBC or in the rest of the media?

We may not be able to change society or the world, but #### it, I can change my sex, which gives me and those observing my behavior the feeling and belief that fundamental change, is, after all, possible.

Most of our behavior isn't individual, but collective, as we are... a kind of advanced ape that needs company. Individualism is a liberal dogma without much to back it up.

How to achieve happyness? Well, I'm miserable in my current sex, perhaps things will be different if I change it?

But society and the people around us, have to aknowledge and sanction people 'changing sex', which is not what they are really doing. They are changing their appearance as a form of signaling or display. Liberals and the left, need desparately to feel they are 'progressive' and that they and society are 'moving forward'. They also enjoy feeling superior to other, more backward groups, individuals or even entire 'backward' countries. Like food display, sex display satisfies this desire and need in liberals.

Yes, certainly agree its a bloody minefield, one many stay away from due to the fact if you open you gob you are accused of upsetting someone, and the Transgender brigade does seem highly sensitive, apart when it comes to dishing it out to their latest victim, as witness in Auckland.

Matters used to be so simple, we had transexual persons, that is clinically diagnosed individuals who were alble to access surgery/drugs to try and change their bodies to the one they believed they were actually in - no issue with this.

Problem is, we have a new word crop up to really sow the seeds of confusion, which, is actually intentional, i.e., Transgender requires no clinical diagnosis and those claiming this new terminology do not require a clinical diagnosis to engage in hormone therapy, surgery, or, and lets be honest, just take the piss.

We've had an exponential growth in Transgenderism and support for transgenderism and this has occurred this century, regrettably, and concurrent to this has been the growth of the internet and social media platforms, meaning what was once underground, or restricted to campuses has escaped into the general population and institutions, thus we've now got to the stage that those juniors under 12 can now determine what bloody gender they are - sounds crazy to me.

-Its pointless having a dialogue with gender believers. Like living in an echo chamber they just return years later having taken in nothing at all and repeating the same old worthless stuff.
