I don't think there's been a war, where the control by the state of how it's understood and framed, has been under almost total state control, with barely a voice allowed to question anything. The media acts as the propaganda arm, of ministry, of the state, and no public dissent is permitted. The few who do, like Roger Waters, are attacked, smeared and vilified as foreign agents.
