Some of the generalisations Trotsky made in 1931 look painful with hindsight. But his main thesis was correct: everything in the mid-20th century depended on stopping Hitler.

By the same token today; everything in the mid-21st century depends on stopping Donald Trump.

Comparing Trump to Hitler is basically the entire raison d'etre for warmongering Timmy's book "On Tyranny"...

I reckon Democrats really hating Trump is a snobbery thing: it's simply because he's rather vulgar.

There has never been more than a whisker between his policies and theirs and what there was got dropped pretty quickly after his election.

Under the veneer they know they are a similar kind of vulture to the Orange-headed-one and they hate that idea.

- Mein Kampf, among numerous other key differences such as wealth, Hitler’s military experience and obviously more controllable hair.

More comparable, are the US Democrats and the German Social Democrats of the 1930s. Both spineless and elitist naturally, a key difference being that the US Democrats now have a newly-minted carbon fiber spine as the political arm of the security services (or SS for short). Of which Mason is an undisguised affiliate.
