This was posted before I'd finished the message. A friend sent me this piece from the Observer about a series of attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian homes in the West Bank while IDF goons stood by and watched. My friend asked if the BBC or any other broadcaster had covered the story, and to my knowledge no one has. This article was the first I knew about it.
Re: West Bank settlers attack Palestinian homes -- hello BBC?
They've been waving one hand at it as if it's an annoying fly that won't go away but the coverage has been negligent to the point of lying by omission. Particularly egregious is the complete lack of coverage of the seizure of somewhere near two thousand civilians (reports vary and getting correct figures from the apartheid state is impossible) in the West Bank imediately after Oct 7th to "stock up" on hostages to use as bargaining chips. Never mentioned in the msm at all. But the Khkhahamas and human shields and "embedding among a civillian population" crap? Non-stop.
I remember way back at the end of last year there was a clip of Peter Obourne being "interviewed" by sodding Venessa Feltz and being cut off as he shouted "What about the West Bank? Report what's happening in the West Bank" so that's how long this latest pogrom has been going on to almost complete indifference.
When/if the dust settles the media's role in all this has to be remembered and they need to be reminded of it at every turn....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
