Yeh, Hinkle is a grifter of titanic proportions. I happen to agree with a lot of what I've seen him say on Gaza for example (I avoid him like the plague usually but see occasional tweets on other threads) but he will say whatever gets the most engagment, clicks, money and fame.
He started out surfing on the "Healthcare for all" movement online posturing as a progressive lefty, then came up with his "MAGA Communism Red/Brown alliance" bullshit, a more naked attempt to appeal to two audiences you will never see, and then he jumped on Gaza and rode the U.S. right's resurgent separatism to where he's become fairly prominent in the right-leaning alt-media sphere.
He will say whatever gets him paid the most. He's also a bit thick. I'm sure I agree with his take on Gaza (although it will certainly be someone else's take repackaged) but he's one person I just can't be bothered to watch or listen to. ...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.

Thanks for that Rask. I don't know anything about him although his face looked familiar. I didn't watch it for long and now I realise why after reading your comment/take. Repackaging, as you say.
Presumably GG knows this too, so why did he give him the slot?

Hinkle has manage to carve out quite an audience so perhaps that. He's also been very visible on Gaza but mostly in the right/libertarian and further to the right sphere.
I'm sure I'd agree with most of what he says but he's really a bad actor just out to "make it" on the internet.
I think George would likely ignore all baggage he has and just think that he is representing the right side on Gaza so let him be heard.
