Lede: The attacks came as a response to the killing of a Hezbollah fighter in
south Lebanon on Tuesday evening

Hezbollah targeted Israel's Meron air control base and Pranit barracks in the
Galilee on 15 May with dozens of rockets and missiles in response to the
assassination of one of its fighters the night before.

Lede: The Yemeni Armed Forces said it also targeted a commercial vessel that was
en route to the Israeli port of Eilat

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on 15 May the targeting of two ships in the
Red Sea, including a US destroyer warship.

"The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation
targeting the American destroyer 'USS Mason' in the Red Sea with a number of
appropriate naval missiles," the Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree
announced in a televised statement on Wednesday, confirming that the forces
achieved accurate hits on USS Mason.
