JENIN, West Bank (Reuters) -Israeli forces raided Jenin in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday in an operation that the Palestinian health ministry said killed seven Palestinians, including a doctor, and left nine others wounded.
The army said it was an operation against militants and that a number of Palestinian gunmen were shot. There was no immediate word of any Israeli casualties.
The health ministry account of the casualties was quoted by the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Even before Hamas’ attack on October 7, Israeli forces had already killed 205 Palestinians in the West Bank this year, while settlers were responsible for nine more killings.
More than 450 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank this year, including at least 106 children, according to OCHA.
The article is from December 2023 so the count has massively increased since then.
Funny how there's almost no coverage of that in the msm. I mean that's almost a whole October 7th already before the casualties from the last five months get added in (505 so far this year apparently) which adds up to about 100 short of October 7th none of which were soldiers, border police, etc.
