My tribalism wants to see the tories kicked out but they are just coming back in dressed in a different colour rosette.

This observer of UK politics is surprised that Rishi has decided to call a 'faux General Election' for early July - my own money was on an October farce instead, meaning the dire economic condition of the UK is worse than even I had imagined if the Tories desire to throw the towel in now.

Indeed, why even waste public funds on this sham of democracy, given Keith Stalin and his band of genocide enablers follow the same script as little Rishi, meaning it will be a 'zero change' election, one where real democratic choice is off the table as far as the MSM are concerned.

Regardless of my own opinion, i.e., the UK requires radical democratic and socioeconomic surgery to survive, a change none of the legacy parties offer, one of course will vote to honour those who spilled genuine blood in order that we the people had some influence - sadly, now almost impossible to act upon given how anti-democratic the UK has become since the mid-1960s.

My real fear is that turnout will fall below 60% given the lack of choice on offer and dismal non-offerings of the three major legacy parties.

My advice is simple, do vote but steer clear of neoliberal and liberal groups, which I'm afraid includes the Green Party - me, I'll be voting Workers Party GB if on my local ballot or Plaid Cymru, and I'm only voting PC because they still oppose NATO!!!!!!

Hate to rain on your parade, but will be tough to vote for GG in Torfaen, Wales, hence, I'm not even aware that WPGB have a candidate in my neck of the woods. Still, regardless, I have a choice, others will need to spoil ballots or not bother.

Ken,
A decade ago I was a member of the Green Party, alas with their conversion to everything woke and adoration of NATO its impossible for me to recommend a vote for them.

Further, as with the Greens, NuNu Labour and LibDems in Wales, all Centrist, allegedly Left of Centre parties like their woke and pushing Transhumanism, so, the only thing that differentiates Plaid is their opposition to NATO and its the only reason I'll vote for them if an actual genuine Left vote not available, be it Communist, WPGB or a Lefty independent.

A minor improvement on the fraud of supposed democracy...

...would be a "none of the above" box on the ballot sheet.

If it got more votes than the first place candidate then a rerun.

If wishes were fishes : )

Just checked who's formally standing in Torfaen, we do have a WPGB candidate, one Mohd Najmul Alam Shabuj. he'll get my vote but little is known about him, and that's before one recognises my own Constituency is predominately white and poisoned by anti-muslim sentiment, bit different down the road in Newport, which has a reasonably sized South Asian population.

Anyhow, at least I now know I can vote anti-genocide/anti-war.
