I get most other countries...but Yank mainstream TV "humour" often leaves me with a sense of "autistic disconnect" which makes me uncomfortably wondering whether its them or me:

"Am I meant to laugh now?..."

Never one for Seinfeld, or Friends and a plethora of other crap, there have been some gems over the years, i.e., Happy Days, Taxi, Mork & Mindy, Cheers and Frazier - none of which would be possible now, indeed, I think some of these come with 'warnings,' as a lot of UK classic comedy does.

Some great shows there, but you forgot the best of all.
