I can't believe the fraudian and their other dem-fluffing media are making a massive deal out of this and coming up with "Is Trump Toast?" kind of headlines (that was Freedland's in the fraudian).

They are going to get a big lesson in the Boomerang Effect in and at the polls. In the right hands it could be used as a fairly effective weapon but do you see Biden and his crew doing so? They will try to use it as a bludgeon and it will be backfire big time.

On the other hand, he broke the law so I don't see the kangaroo court aspect of it. There's political motivation behind it for sure but the legal aspect of it is pretty iron clad. Unless you're the renowned legal mind that is Jimmy Dore.

There were irregularities in the trial itself, but its in the equal application of the law aspect that the legal campaign against trump diverges most clearly from the principles of rule of law.

I'm afraid that article is not persuasive at all and is at best one step-up from Maga Twitter.

This prosecution taken alongside the other cases against Trump and the lack of action against Biden over bribery revealed on hunter's laptop is a violation of the rule of law. Trump is being singled out for special treatment. The law is not being equally applied.

The 'deplorables' can hardly be blamed for reading maga twitter when no mainstream or liberal news source will mention this.

I don't disagree that the actions are politcially motivated and that there are all manner of things that other presidents could have been prosecuted for but weren't. Where I do diverge from the pro-Trump narrative is the idea that he didn't break the law.

As far as no mainstream source mentioning it, Fox is THE MOST mainstream media vector in the USA and it mentions nothing but the MAGA garabge.

Also Twitter and Facebook (the latter being pretty much only for older voters now and thus more republican) are constantly favouring/pushing the Trump narrative.

The law not being equally applied? Welcome to the US Justice system. I didn't see them up in arms about decades of spurious/false prosecutions of poor black, brown and white people but when it comes to this millionaire crook they suddenly discover the unfairness of it? Please...

Fair enough..maybe im falling foul of 'the liberal media said it so it must be a lie' syndrome..could be they are having a broken clock moment.

Not sure about fox news position in this though. The maga crowd often frame their opponents as globalists and the security state (albeit as neo-marxists) while fox typically frame the opposition to trump as crazy liberals and drag queen story hour type stuff. The expulsion of tucker carlson from fox seemed emblematic of this..

Its true that the judicial system in the US has meted out decades of injustice to poor americans. Removing trump as a sliver of democratic representation and returning all power to the swamp would be to add to the injustice.

It reminds me a bit of newt gingrich republicans hounding clinton over lewinsky...the right thing happening for the wrong reasons doesnt quite do it justice..

One thing I am sure of is that it will blow up in their faces in the end. I reckon he could stroll the election while doing time in the SHU at Pelican Bay. It's going to be such a shit show.

Trump's a nightmare but if you want to prosecute x presidents I can think of a few mass murder charges appropriate to several that would stick in any serious trial...just line them up: but paying off a hooker without adding it to official expenses? Neh...

The Presidential race for the "Leader of the Free World": surely an opportunity to highlight the superiority of "Western Democracy"...and... it's a choice between a venal felon with a narcistic personality disorder, a demented senile enabler of mass murder and a dude with an actual worm in his brain...all ardent supporters of a fanatical genocidal foreign state.
