Farage talks sense on Ukraine/Russia. Admires Putin

He said: “I’d say to Zelensky, look, the West have been supporting you, they will go on supporting you but the percentage of your young manhood that you’re losing is so bad, isn’t it time we at least tried to have a negotiation - he couldn’t say no.”

I wonder if he's provided a very large stick for the media and his political opponents to beat him with. I hope he sticks to his guns, and his moral perspective.

It was Farage who stood up in the EU Parliament some years ago when he was a MEP and in response to the idea that the EU should allow Ukraine to join, said "Are you insane?"

That's the problem, he has this moral and practical view of the Ukraine war, which many posting here will agree with, being one of the few public figures to admit this, but under his superficial bonhomie otherwise a pretty unattractive human being, not that dissimilar from Johnson. So what is it with these people, where their moral perspective is totally inconsistent. And how are you supposed to deal with them?
