as per the comment from the, short-lived, interviewee. In any sane country these two idiots would be laughed off the screen. I have no idea on their viewing figures but I noticed James Whale has an MBE.......I can't type how much I'm shaking my head in resigned disbelief after watching this.

Fair play to the dude though. Clearly saw what was going to happen, called them clowns and left. This really was one of their worst moments yet. It's like some sort of absurdist comedy project.

We've seen the same formula played in every interview by Piers Morgan:
Every guest must accept the establishment line that the central issue is the demonic Hamas: not the Palestinian people or the murderous Israeli state.

Once you have that settled the guest is "in the bag" so to speak...and any other point he has to make is mere " special pleading".

While I don't have a rosy image of "British" journalism, most of it is somewhat more professional than these two drooling quarter-wits and if they contribute to people assuming that all of it is like this, it's another reason to hope they get struck by lightning.

It is, unfortunately, the British way, and Americans hate it. Very important to them is to maintain “civility” right up to the very moment of pulling the trigger and blowing your brains out: “Sir! Sir! Excuse me sir!” Poooof.
