- Quite believable considering the vast amounts of ordinance that have been dropped...which must make it one of, or indeed, the most bombed city on earth...ever.
The fact that we sit and watch this crime happen before us, powerless whilst our leaders actually collude in it is shameful. It's a horrifyingly graphic illustration of what US "Rules Based Order" actually means in the real world.
Ghassan Abu Sitta @GhassanAbuSitt1 2h BREAKING: The Lancet has just published this article "conservatively" estimating that the death toll in the Gaza genocide could be 186,000 people or more
Thank you for the reference. It was actually published as "correspondence" so it's not really a paper or an article and will be open to informed debate and possible contradiction. But, still, a very sobering take on the causalities of war, which so often extend beyond the dismembered corpses on the ground, but include illness, suicide, inadequate health care, stillbirths, etc etc. I have sent a reference to some local people who assemble here weekly in Martinborough, NZ, and we're putting on a concert in which I am singing for Medicin san Frontiers.
