The author is correct in that Christian Zionists and squatter state Zionists share similar means but a different end result.
However, the US also has an enduring relationship with S Arabia that predates the squatter state.
If Arab money, however, replaced squatter state money in a future Arab Nationalism, would the US cling to it's biblical rites whilst being reduced to penury?
I wonder how religious they truly are.

It's a tricky one from the perspective that Israel has lost the war with Hamas and needs the USA to intervene, be it war with Hezbollah or constant atrocities against the Palestinian population. Clearly, Us of A is slowly recognising the fact that de-dollarisation is a threat (as recently stated by Janet Yellen). All US commentators are mentioning the fact that US debt is ballooning and appears unsustainable. Ties their hands somewhat. Logically, if Dems circus ends in Nov, the bizarre behaviour of Dems will take a hike imo, one hopes. I think economics will trump (sic) ideology.
