Joe Biden has been removed from power by the same anti-democratic forces that rigged the field for him in 2020 & skipped the primary to anoint him in 2024.

I wish President Biden well and thank him for his many years of public service.

This cannot have been an easy decision for him. But to take a decision that is personally difficult, but that is in the public interest, is a true sign of leadership.

For decades successive US Governments have supported the Israeli government’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land, and Biden is complicit in the slaughter of innocent people in Gaza.

Last night I was positive about President Biden's decision to stand aside as a candidate. Some people read into this that I was offering my unmitigated support for his Presidency, including the policy of selling arms to Israel. Given my long-running work campaigning for peace, this is the last thing I wanted and certainly not my position. I am sorry for not making it clearer, and that my comments left some in doubt and concerned.

The next president needs to work for peace, stop arms sales to Israel, and ensure an immediate ceasefire and release of all hostages.

The world needs the next US President to be a peacemaker.

Jimmy Dore sneered at the US Greens the other day for being thoroughly infiltrated by establishment stooges. That the British Greens are too is amply demonstrated by the partei leader.

It's so tranparently obvious what he is, or has become if you want to be kind, that it's difficult to believe anyone hasn't sussed him out.

Well, he seems to sneer at anything 'green'. Not that there's a lot that should be sneered at. Like the fetishisation of technofix non-solutions.

But, the threat to human - and other-than-human - survival from climate change and other environmental insults is very much real.

I had a quick look for the vid but couldn't find it. His sneer included descriptions of establishment stooge behaviour which can be checked. I've never been enamoured of the greens because they have always seemed like a middle-class single-interest group. I had enough of them learning about the Anti-Corn Law League. He's gone off the boil in the last 18 months, even the phone calls are a bit of a bore and I assume that he has been doing adverts because I'm not the only one to lose interest.
