Anyway, Larry Johnson doesn't seem to be that good at critical thinking. All the stuff about zeroing his scope and how he must have had help, etc. What about he didn't do it (zeroing) and that's why he missed a relatively simple shot from a short distance? Makes more sense.

He seems to draw conclusions from nothing but his feelings.

There could still be more going on, as he gets to later, but I really think if "they" decided to off him they would have made sure they slotted him.

The early part (he must have had help, he must have had training, etc.) is not very convincing at all.

It's already been revealed that the shooter was a regular shooter at ranges so there's your training. He's either not heard this or is discounting it for some reason.

Respectfully, I disagree with you. I watched an earlier discussion that Larry had with Ritter where Larry held the line as you describe, whilst Ritter has pushed the line that Larry holds now. It seems Larry has had further discussion since then with some people and has reluctantly come to conclusion that Crooks has had help, although no other shooters were involved.

In essence, Crooks would have killed Trump if he didn't make that sudden move. Hence Crooks has had enough training and can be considered proficient. Most of the other circumstantial evidence involves the planning. The roof location, the ladder and then there is the encrypted mobile phone with access to overseas calls etc. There was a mention of drone being used prior to rally as part of planning surveillance of the area (not sure about that).

Where the collusion aspect would come in is that the secret service original team was relieved and replaced by incompetent management that have had no track record in secret service, which apparently stinks to high heaven. So, like everybody, I am waiting for more findings.

But he still provides no evidence at all. He fired four shots (?) only one of which was affected by the head turn. He missed the other shots, at least missed what he wanted to hit.

The SS lapses I'm more open to something going on but again, they need some evidence. I haven't seen the Ritter video but Larry Johnson is massively unconvincing in his arguments as to why shooter must have had help.

Side issue to my mind, but OK, let's consider. You are absolutely right that Trump rally should have been aborted for a spell, considering there was a report that somebody was in a position to take the shot and nobody knew whether this was one of 'ours'. Just one of the incompetences of the senior SS team. There is still a question of planning. Maybe just me.

Shooting humans or sheets of paper is the same thing in their empty-headed 'philosophy'. It would be a ridiculous argument if the current state of gun control is not considered as a factor. And .. completely misses the point, sad to say. Read and absorb the previous posts, if at all possible

Yes, shooting and taking training at ranges and gun clubs, as various sources have said he did. Johnson seems to think the fact that he can get close to a hit with one out of four shots is somehow evidence he's had some kind of spook coaching. It isn't.

If he'd had any kind of sniper training he wouldn't use that gun and would have hit at least once, centre-mass. Trump moved for the "ear shot" but then stood still for at least a second or two. Again, a trained sniper would still be "on his shot" so would slightly adjust to the movement and fire again.

All this and the results suggest a range-trained shooter who's never shot at a person before, getting into position, taking shots at essentially the POTUS and not being able to perform, not someone trained to make a fairly trivial shot for a marksman. I bet you could find 50 people at that rally who could make that shot without the fear, threat of imminent death, etc. that would accompany the real thing. It doesn't suggest that he was put there by spooks.

The big questions seem to be around how he got into that position unchallenged and how the SS were so useless at doing their one job, not which part of the deep state trained him.
