I keep getting warnings about this site

Returned from holiday today and Safari warns me that Lifeboat News is not properly certified with the message "This conversation is not private".

What the feck is going on?

Well, i use Safari too, I've not had that message, but for the Mac OS's own internet browser, I find Safari flaky, it doesn't work well with some internet sites, and it regularly overburdens my 8gb RAM even with only a few pages open and getting the spinning wheel of death, have to force quit. . I still use it, as I am used to it. and can't be bothered to learn a new browser, but Apple really needs to up its game with its Safari browser.

John -- is there another browser you'd recommend?

In other words, do I have to use Safari on my Mac or can I go somewhere else? Basic question I know, but I would like some guidance.

Firefox works fine on a Mac

Methinks you may have caught an infection on vacation? :-):-)

But then, I never update OSX if I buy a mac device, it stays the same as the day it was born. Especially these days. So my experience probably doesn’t help.
