The other day I accidentally turned on Radio 4 to hear an American bimbo extolling Harris's virtues. No-one mentioned her slaving or suppressing evidence of the innocence of someone in a condemned cell or accepting bent drug tests....

Sudden changes in the politcal situation (such as Biden's exit stage left pursued by nurse and Harris' entry) always leave people in what you would think would be uncomfortable position of having to reverse what they said about a certain candidate previously.

Seeing the same people who slagged her off left and right now claiming she's the best thing since sliced bread is amazing. They just do it and other than the alternative media, nobody bats an eye.

The more you look into her, the worse she looks. Caleb Maupin's book on her is a killer. It's on libgen although they seem to have changed the title a bit!

No doubt she is will largely uphold the status quo regarding foreign policy. Otherwise, she wouldn't be where she is, or she will be assassinated. I would love to be proven wrong but that's pretty much impossible.

It does mean a lot to me that she is unequivocal about women's right to control their own bodies, as well as respect for women in general. I also believe that she has more respect for the environment and takes threats to it seriously.

Given the truly dangerous rhetoric and actions coming from the Republican nutbars (drill baby drill, she slept her way to where she is, calling her out for past comments against fracking) if I was in the US and thought my vote had a chance of making her president instead of Trump, I would vote for her.

Some of the more rabid attacks on her from the right may actually blow up in their faces; I do hope so.

She may well believe the things she says re: abortion but she did nothing while in office to try and change things and if she gets the big seat I have no doubt she will be an Obama 2.0. Lots of talk, but "my hands were tied, we couldn't do anything", etc.

Still, in a straight choice between anything and Trump, pretty much anything gets the nod.

Interestingly, it seems "they" are telling the truth about Caleb Maupin's book on Harris being removed from Amazon; I just tried to find it and it doesn't come up in search results and it isn't listed on his author's page.

She favours abortion but doesn't favour anyone controlling their bodies when it comes to pseudo-vaccines. She's something rotten from the State of California.

I only vote in democratic elections so I wouldn't vote for either of them. I'd rather suck shite through a wire brush than vote for a monster like her though.

Remember, Tulsi Gabbard destroyed Harris in the 2020 primary, after which Harris had to drop out.

Now Harris is the Dem candidate for POTUS, while Tulsi Gabbard, if I recall correctly, is entirely out of the political system.

That’s the way it works, we have all experienced it in our own lives.

What more do you need to know about whether or not Harris is establishment?

Unflushable turds (e.g. Blair) are always establishment picks.

That is point #1.

Point #2 is, as it has always been, FOLLOW THE MONEY. Its amazing how easily people are distracted from this central dictum of US politics. You don’t have to know any more. In 2008, the fact wall St backed Obama, was a 20 second click away on the internet, and enabled me to shut off the radio, etc. whenever there was any discussion of him, and listen to music instead.

So … just listen to music.

Nice one. After deciding, and after listening to all the arguments to date, why bother analysing thereafter (although I'll have a peep just to see what cr*p is cooked up).
