One of the most egregiously murderous police shooting I've seen. I followed it as it happened and there were a couple of things that I noticed.
Earlier in the body cam footage, as the police arrive at the door, they ask her "How are you mentally?" and she replies something like, "I'm ok, I've taken all my medication" so there is some suggestion that she may have been having some issues but this seems to have been lost in the later coverage.
The oddest thing is the, what must be, deep fakes (both video and still) that I actually saw with my own eyes where it appeared that Sonya Massey had the pot of boiling water in her hands and was trying to throw it towards the officers when she was shot. In the actual footage she does not and is crouched on the floor with the pot on the stove or on the floor, I can't recall which. I've not seen any coverage of where these fakes came from or even much coverage of their actual existence.
Now most msm sites are editing the footage so the actual point is blacked out or blurred.
The whole thing is odd, and the line "I'll rebuke you in the name of Jesus" is a bit strange despite all the protestations that it's a normal church going sister's line (not to mention his reply, "You better fucking not I'll shoot you right in your face" which seems like going from zero to 100 in half a second!).
The pig's ridiculous over-reaction and murder is obviously wrong and I hope he pays for it, but there is some weird stuff going on with the coverage/footage. ...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.

Seems fairly reasonable and just shows why cops shouldn't be doing mental welfare checks, but obviously having some qualified, unarmed, person do it is communism or something...
I think he's done for policing which is a positive but doubt he'll get major time; we'll see. He's exactly who shouldn't be, but usually is, a cop....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
