Actually, I thought some of the earlier episodes were pretty good - particularly the one with Richard Briars as a very creepy guy who perfects a technique of poisoning his surplus-to-requrements wives by concocting a 'healing' soup made from the livers of elderly dogs - excess Vitamin A.

I know he isn't in every episode but I watch it mainly for Scampi, the lovely Springer Spaniel...I used to have a Springer (crazy dogs) many moons ago and Scampi is the spit of him!
