Germany has bankrupted itself by going along with the US and now can't afford to reconstruct itself, let alone a corrupt, nazi rump state with all its infrastructure smashed to pieces and a large percentage of its population dead, mutilated for life or escaped to other countries (like Germany, for example) with probably little intention of returning. Also, I like how the US & UK get off scot free despite being the primary architects of this mess in the first place. What happened to Blackrock taking charge of reconstruction? Too big of a job even for them? Couldn't make enough money off it?
I don't think Vance or Trump have any workable negotiating strategy or the kind of leverage necessary to implement it. Russia will dictate the terms as the victor of the conflict and they will have to accept it and try to save face the best they can.
