I have to say if Hezbollah were still using any such device after the pager explosions, they have been seriously caught out. The Palestinians are regularly condemned for stating the state of Israel has no right to exist, yet no state has the "right to exist' if violence, illegality and inhumanity rule it. So when Piers Mogan repeats this question, as he's apt to do, his interviewees should be prepared in such a way to the throw it back in his face.
This is Netanyahu's and Israel's way of ensuring perpetual war and committing national suicide as it does so. Countries do this, Ukraine is another present example, and the UK's and Europe's support for "the Ukraine project" as the Duran put it, is doing the same for us.

Israel atrocities seem to be on a level of depravity and cruelty all their own. I am reminded of the Israel/Lebanon war of 2006 and the particularly sadistic use of cluster bombs by the IDF. When a ceasefire agreement was announced, several days before the actual ceasefire was to take place, Israel launched hundreds of thousands of cluster bombs into Lebanon, spreading countless numbers of unexploded munitions in the south, which were, in effect, land mines. The vast majority of these cluster bombs were launched into Lebanon in the last 72 hours before the ceasefire. Israel were making sure that the killing, mutilation and fear for the Lebanese people would continue long after the ceasefire. Despite numerous attempts by the UN to get Israel to give up the maps of the areas that they had targeted with these cluster munitions...they didn't get them until 3 years later. Yet everyone else are the barbarians and terrorists!

Another example of Israeli barbarity was their use of flechettes against civilians in the 2008 attack on Gaza. Using them on civilians is a violation of international law, as is the use of white phosphorous, again used by Israel in civilian areas. What consequences did Israel experience for these blatant war crimes? Absolutely none. The weapons and aid from the US/uk still went pouring in.

- No state has a "right" to exist full stop. They either are recognised as existing by other states or aren't...there's no "right" about it.

Ken, are you not being just a touch pedantic? I was merely making a specific point about Israel, which you don't seem to have bothered to answer meaningfully - this is not a general thesis on wider international relations, which is actually irrelevant in this context.

It doesn't actually matter "...if violence, illegality and inhumanity rule it...": Good or bad: approval of disapproval doesn't come into it because no country has any such "right" anyway.

My cousin in Beirut messaged me saying she disconnected her baby monitor and other household appliances and devices. Our people are unaware of which devices are safe and which are not. If this was happening in “Israel” the entire world would be condemning it. It is terrorism.

As others have pointed out, any other organisation or state conducting this operation at home or in a foreign country would rightly be accused of terrorism, in this case, state-sponsored terrorism. There is a sickening pandemic of moral decay at play here that will ultimately rebound on the west, on us, on our children and families and society, probably violently. All we'll hear though will be anger and blame, with rational self-reflection and understanding forbidden words and thought, as we wade forward and fall in the bloody morass we have ourselves created.

As for the fraudian and its measured view, that's one fig leaf of very meausured dissent, so measured it's almost not there amid a swelter of "Oooh, aren't Mossad clever?" and "What will Hezbollah do next?" articles. A nice little bit of propaganda framing in the latter; implying two things: first that the attacks were aimed solely at Hezbollah and second, the "next" implying it was sort of Hezbollah's actions that caused this.
I'm hoping at the very least this spurs a new life into the BDS movement and this disgusting terrorist apartheid state gets cut off from the civilised world. ...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
