That cowardly pronouncement comes at about the 17 minute mark. The sing-song delivery and the giggling only reinforce the impression that Bastani, like Michael Walker, is essentially a moral lightweight.

Bastani is the worst of that crew by a mile although "The BBC does a lot of good journalism on Israel..." as an opening line is laughable.

Emma Barnett is the daughter of a notorious brothel owner and it seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as far as morals.

That clever, nuanced opening statement establishes Walker's objectivity, and forestalls any criticism.from the Israeli embassy. The snickering delivery puts people at their ease, and shows that he's not a humourless bore like that insufferable fellow Blumenthal, the over-serious Maté, the perpetually upset Katie Harper and the much too earnest Lowkey.

Regardless, she's dreadful and full BiBiC as the interview in the OP showed. When she was appointed lots of people (including here I believe) said this would happen and the normies were like "Oh no, she's above all that" and yet here we are....
