Always like listening to Ritter...he always sounds like he knows what he is talking about and I suppose he has the qualifications for it! Just never 100% sure he is right but that doesn't stop me hoping he is!

Didn't he slightly contradict himself when talking about how the old, all in one ship forced incursion style wouldn't work against Iran but then immediately talked about how General something had updated all that so it would be more flexible.
Also, the main reason he gave for the "old" style not working was Iran having area surpression weapons now, but surely the septics can interdict those via stealth bombers/cruise missiles, etc.? Shock and Awe started like that.
I hope the yanks hang the apartheid state out to dry and if they fight, they're alone and they get smashed. Seems they are already taking fairly heavy casualties on the ground in Lebanon. I also hope SR is right.
I'm going to keep an eye out for how all this is playing domestically because there were lots of protests before the body bags started coming home. ...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.

For the near future with Is/Us v Iran any hostilities are likely to be of the missile/drone/bombing variety, right? ...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.

Agree. An armchair general sitting next to me tells me that there are logistical problems in Izzies bombing most targets in Iran i.e. refuelling of their jets. Thus bombing is very unlikely imo. Apart from that I would be careful about S400s just delivered to Iran by RF. I think Izzies have been check-mated in this instance ..
