It is always good to see the Finkelmeister and looking like he is in good spirits, too.

I watched this the other day; was top value. I love his little rhetorical flourishes, "Why is she always laughing?". I think he's probably right about the "election".

...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.

I do have to say, the Finkelmeister does makes me laugh a lot.
I am sure he knows his humour is noticed too...I can't help a snigger when I know he is doing a concealed guffaw.

I am always on the lookout for a clip with Norman in a small tutorial group, great students, great tutor, Norm was leading the discussion band the the students were having a great time! Wish I had had more teachers like him...the whole session was full of humour and knowledge.

Kamala Harris has had a golden opportunity to show real leadership with the devastation that's destroyed so many of the US's small rural towns in the recent hurricane's wake. She's failed miserably. She could have galvanised the federal government's responses - instead, FEMA has largely done nothing while threatening private individuals with prosecution if they use their own resources to help. These folk don't vote Democrat in the main so, you know, screw 'em. It couldn't be clearer.

And yeah, her cackling would make hyenas jealous.

Effective responses to fire, flood, pestilence, famine etc etc require really, really good organisation. In the zero-accountability, pass the buck culture that affects so many western countries, this tends to get overlooked. Stuff doesn't just happen - people need to make it happen. Good leadership is authoritative and NOT authoritarian; it helps people bring their best game to the tasks in hand Nothing to do with fetlock-touching Uriah Heepism.
