More than 100 BBC staff accuse broadcaster of Israel bias in Gaza coverage

This really shouldn't be too much to ask:

The letter also calls on the broadcaster to implement a series of editorial commitments including “reiterating that Israel does not give external journalists access to Gaza; making it clear when there is insufficient evidence to back up Israeli claims; making clear where Israel is the perpetrator in article headlines; including regular historical context predating October 2023; and robustly challenging Israeli government and military representatives in all interviews”.

In its own gutlessly compliant way, that Independent piece is as bad as any of the BBC malpractices it is forced to mention. The Independent -- once a newspaper, now just a blog with a budget -- really has gone down the drain since Fisk went.

Out of curiosity scrabb, which platform are you using .. Google, Edge, Safari etc.?

I'm using Safari. I tried the link you suggested and followed the instructions, but despite it saying I had signed up for the Adblocker it made no difference to the Independent article -- I just got the same images and piles of ads.

I just got the same images and piles of ads.

Forgive me, I am not an expert, but have you cleared the cache before accessing .. either manually, or by simply switching off/on of yer compy beforehand? Try it again and good luck.
