The whole thing looks such an obvious set up with the obvious aim of distracting from the genocide of the Palestinians. Let a bunch of Israeli football hooligans go on the rampage portray them as "victims" and provoke pathetic headlines from the ever-willing supine UK and European press:

This really is, as you say, an object lesson in how the truth is inverted and widespread false messaging results in an "alternative truth".

This is even with the real-time social media evidence contradicting their false "It wasn't us, it was the Arabs" narrative.
