...the rumour now is he's going to appoint Vlad the Impaler and Cersei Lannister instead!

That's got to be a little bit of good news, eh?
I suppose it really depends on who he actually appoints in their place.

It's odd because only a week or so ago he Pompeo was making it known he would be getting a prime spot (can't recall if Trump was saying it also).

Probably some form of bait and switch. As posted downboard, his choice of uber-hawk to staff the State Dept. doesn't bode well, on the Iran side of things particularly.

Seeing "finish them" Haley getting the stiff one does make me happy. Early days yet mind.

As if to prove there is a host of horrors still to choose from:

"CNN reported on Sunday that Trump had offered Republican Representative Elise Stefanik the job as US ambassador to the United Nations."

So that's the apartheid state happy given her massive role in the various congressional anti-semitism witch hunts.
