Wonder how long before Israel claims Hezbollah have broken the agreement and its murder of Lebanese civilians resumes.

Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire designed to be permanent, says Biden

A ceasefire has been agreed to end 13 months of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, US President Joe Biden has announced.

"Effective at 04:00 tomorrow local time (02:00 GMT on Wednesday), the fighting across the Lebanese-Israeli border will end," Biden said, adding that it aimed to be a "permanent cessation of hostilities".

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will not hesitate to strike if Hezbollah breaks any part of the agreed deal...

...Israel has claimed the right to respond with military action if Hezbollah breaches the ceasefire. President Biden has echoed this saying Israel "retains the right to self defence consistent with international law".

"If Hezbollah violates the agreement and tries to arm itself, we will attack. If it tries to rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border, we will attack," Netanyahu said...

"Terrorist infrastructure" being the homes that the apartheid state has destroyed in another campaign of ethnic cleansing. I expect settler scum to be in there soon enough.

Netanyahu won't be arrested in France coz Israel is not a signatory to the Court.

Putin, of course, will still be arrested. Despite Russia also not being a signatory to the Court.

International law. Gotta love it.

And why would Iran/Hezboll agree to US soldiers being stationed in Lebanon to monitor the ceasefire?

Just walked past the bbc news at six and head some telemprompter reader saying "...the sound of a ceasefire being tested. One of several times Israel said it saw suspects approaching..." and then I was out of earshot.

Sounds like they are being their usual selves.
