ITV News at Ten...that bloody awful Tom Brady...

...just had the misfortune to catch his intro to the abysmal News at Ten.
He started off with the shootings in Sweden and soon went on to US/China tariff stuff....with him basically sniggering at the idea that China might inforce some sort of action or sanction on Google.

It soon descended into the usual bollox about China causing a "fanfare to further the narrative that China is the more responsible player in the tarif war".

Been quite a while since I saw any ITV news but was instantly reminded what a fucking tool Brady is.

Bradby is another prominent TV presenter/journalist who also writes genre novels. It's a curious overlap: Kirsty Wark, Frank Gardner, Jonathan Freedland (as Sam Bourne, meant to sound nothing like Dan Brown, of course). Who can guess why they're so drawn to fiction?

Yeah, good point, Steve.
What I hated about Tom Bradby's delivery last night was the way he sort of knowingly smiled and sniggered about China, as if confident that he was sharing a sort of in joke with an audience who are all in on the "China talking bollox again" implication, when the only bollox being talked was by him.
