Nice one. I've seen Rabii Shapiro making his point .. perhaps 2 odd weeks ago as well as Satanyahoo interpretation of the zionazis ideology in calling Palestinians Amalek. It seems, in terms of the bible, the latter doesn't make sense .. speaking as an atheist (not the sort of the New Atheist nutter initiating this conversation as a tweet : ))

The point being that zionazis have invented a new religion with zero credibility for anyone awake enough to think. It appears that Israeli population has bought it hook, line and sinker. Reminds me of 1930's Europe etc.

As a perusal of the old Testament and of course Netanyahu's Amalek quote shows, its not really new.
It's essentially very old Judaism centred around a Tutelary deity who's zealously on your tribes side against all other humans. When not killing others himself he's giving "his own" permission to murder.

Unfortunately it's not just the population of Israel going backwards as most other Jews support Israel's heinous activity.

As to Christians supporting this, it's an oxymoron. The sacrifice of Christ is fundamental as it slept away the notion of a God requiring appeasement through sacrifice, just as it made the deities concerns universal: belonging to all humans as opposed to being exclusively tribal.

As Rabbi Shapiro explained Palestinians cannot be Amalek. This according to old Testament 'genealogy' i.e. Amalek was a different tribe to Palestinians.

Hence my statement:

Meaning .. Netanyahu was making it up by calling Palestinians Amalek, in other words untrue quasi-religious story.

I hope that is clearer ..

The Jews see themselves as children of Jabob whilst "Amalek" are the kin whose patrimony Jacob usurped: the children of Esau.

-It's not a new religion: just a reinstatement of Judaism in which Gods chosen are the Jews and the Tutelary deity as is his want, doesn't like the rest of humanity: " I have loved Jacob but Esau I have hated": not something compatatable with the bigger idea of a Universal god who doesn't do tribalism and favourites.

Palestinians cannot be Amalek.
