A fairly obvious recruitment drive from the RAF in the wake of the Top Gun 2 film, trying to get the yoof excited about committing acts of war abroad in the name of 'security' and 'safety' for the UK, its 'allies' and 'interests'. Full of the usual justifications about 'Vladdy the Baddy' and Bad Russia, Bad Iran, Evil ISIS in Iraq & Syria (who armed them? not going to say? ok then) and Houthi 'terrorists' in Yemen (why are they targeting shipping in the Red Sea? not going to say? ok then). Apparently some of the first public footage of UK drone operators, in this case spying over Iraq, supposedly aiding 'Iraqi intelligence' (hmmm, CIA operatives, you mean?) and looking for 'suspicious' activity that amounts to men in 'traditional dress' driving to a house and meeting other men. All the while with target sights on them and finger on the trigger to deal death from above. But it's ok cos there's more spooks and lawyers (lawyers!) on the phone making the decision of whether it's ok to murder these people in cold blood or not. Pretty sure that op and the following one targeting alleged missile sites in Yemen are illegal acts of war. But look kids, this one has a cool mustache like that actor, and a groovy sheepskin flying jacket!
The more media I see, the more I think that lying by omission is by far their most common tactic. Whether it's inconvenient facts, context or dodgy sourcing, they never miss a chance to miss it out.
Dreadful. The corporate media are complicit in the Gaza genocide. Never forget what they did. Never forgive them for it.
