As I understand it, there was no valid constitutional reason for him to be taken to Louisiana (where they had a 'hardliner judge' i.e. against immigrants). Hence the judgement etc.

After watching Laith's interview with Nima, it is clear that the Palestinian in question was in fact a 'collaborationist'. An interesting twist to the story. I posted this above, nevertheless here is the link (it's very much in the beginning):
