They're freaking out because they know Ukronazistan is collapsing. They need something in place -- something that looks like a military capability the Russians won't dare to burn -- before the truth of total defeat becomes apparent to everyone...

He is no longer threatening Putin with an army Britain does not have, supported by US backup that the US has said it will not give.

UKrainian footsoldiers are now fighting fight; It only needs western air power to bring Russia to its knees.

“There is a strong sense that, because of what’s happened in the last three years, the Ukrainian forces are amongst the strongest now in Europe. They’ve got the capability, they’ve got the numbers, and they’ve actually got the frontline experience.

He is a joker but is not joking. He really feels like a World Statesman because the Guardian et al treat him like world statesmen.

-All it needs to make this sentence absolutely true is replace "Ukraine" with "Russia".

Unfortunately "truth" is beyond the capabilities of Western "leaders". I get the same kind of cringe from Starmer as I did all those years ago watching Billy Liar leading the marching armies of Ambrosia.

Unfortunately this is no movie...

.. The UK declaring war on Russia will have been gamed by Russia over many decades. I don’t see any difficulty in dealing with it, frankly.

Start by burning down Heathrow? :-)
