By 'nasty group', Trump means they won't just cave and take orders. He uses the same terminology for women and others.
Regardless, while he and Netanyahu f**k around playing their games, people are suffering, shelterless, being starved, being killed and wounded by aerial bombs and snipers, forced to keep moving.

Interestingly, Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, like McGovern, think he might be 'Kennedied' for being too soft on Russia. Probably all the crazies in the basement might have a motive?

By “Nasty group” he means that his emissary called them “nice guys” a few weeks ago and Trump then had to remove that goy. He is both erasing that issue and sidestepping a future one.
I am not saying Trump is good or right. I am just saying he is likely responding to direct pressure that he wants to avoid having to keep responding to.
