UK Supreme Court rules legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex

Unusual feeling to see the UK justice system make a sensible ruling. Trying to ingratiate themselves with the Trump regime? I expect there will be challenges, but good that the wind has been taken out of the sails of the trans rights movement and that we're allowed to say that 2+2=4 again, at least on this issue.
The UK Supreme Court rules that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex
Judges say the "concept of sex is binary" while cautioning that the landmark ruling should not be seen as victory of one side over another
Transgender people still have legal protection from discrimination, the court adds - read the full 88-page judgement
The Scottish government had argued that transgender people with a gender recognition certificate (GRC) are entitled to sex-based protections, while For Women Scotland argued they only apply to people that are born female
For Women Scotland says it's grateful for the decision after a "long road" of legal battles, while charity Scottish Trans urges people "not to panic"
The Scottish government says it acted "in good faith" and will work with Westminster to understand the full implications of the rulingTell your story; Ask a question; Interpret generously http://storybythethroat.wordpress.com/tell-ask-listen/

Just because we are in the era of rejecting Biden's 'wokism' it doesn't mean this is an automatic alignment with Trump's policies.
In the past it was clearly a political football which may have given us some grave consequences. I am mainly thinking of kids and medical interventions.
I don't really give an f about toilets and such. For example we had to share toilets in the 70s in the pubs .. because the pubs were small hehe. Hence no big deal. It still isn't
Changing the language from breast feeding to chest feeding is just ludicrous imo.
Secondly, it's about women's rights at the end of the day, which was probably the main issue why this was taken to court.
Though I reckon the Trans-species dudes who believe themselves to be dogs are barking mad at the decision. Shame. I was so looking forward to the "equal treats-rights" and "NHS for vets" campaigns.
