I'm being forced into non-binary thinking (which is a good thing). Trump is so horrible in many ways but he seems to be telling Netanyahu and Israel to f**k off and there are rumours that the US is going to recognize the Palestinian state. This would never happen under the Democrats (and it may not happen with Trump either but one can hope). Unfortunately, the Palestinian people who've survived have been critically damaged in so many ways, including physical and mental health. But nothing can get better until Israel ends the aggression and military occupation.

Jeffrey sounds very optimistic in this vid...

...and it's great to see and hear that.
He knows infinitely more about the "goings on" than me but can't helping thinking we are all going to be disappointed though.
Of course, goes without saying I would love to be proved wrong!

On the other hand, it's being widely reported today that Trump is pressuring the Syrian leader to sign on to the Abraham accords and expel Palestinians from Syria because they're terrorists.

So as ever, it's silly to place any hope in western leaders to help the Palestinian people.
