BBC returns to baby left hungry by Israeli blockade

How's that for a slight understatement? The accompanying photo shows a a baby staving to death in front of our eyes and the BBC says the poor mite is "left hungry". Are these people completely devoid of any vestige of humanity? How could you roll into the office and pen the words "left hungry" as if it were an unfortunate but unfortunate oversight?

And we pay these fuckers' salaries.

I didn't see the name of the "reporter" first time around. And of course it's that disgrace to journalism with his fake sobbing sentiment and lilting brogue. Good choice of words, Fergal ... "left hungry". I can see you rolling into the office and penning those words. Right man for the job. Well done. Pass Go and collect your salary with a clear conscience.

Everytime I visit my parents they're watching it. I tried to persuade them against it but there's no talking to them. It's their comfort blanket of detachment and ignorance.

Apart from Prime that has lots of hidden gems amidst the dross You tube is about it for any sort of broadcast method. It's got a lot more shire in it these days and the advert interruptions are reaching CommercialPrivateEquitybbc proportions but there are even more decent programmes from the past. I wouldn't have guessed last year that I'd buy two books by Ludovic Kennedy because of what I'd seen.
