Leftist Owen Jones is a frequent guest on the show but the producers have ruled that Israel shall never be discussed on his presence. On that subject Jones can eloquently exceed the permitted limits of respectability. He was booked a week ago, but overnight Isreal suddenly provided a reason why the subject could not be completely ignored. Jones said everything I would have said but said it better. His fast delivery means he can finish his sentences before Viner can cut them off. So, much of the two minutes which the show allocate to this little news item was dominated by Jones. Viner could not even make time to put him right on the term "Genocide" before hurrying to a lengthy discussion of designer dogs.

French president Emmanuel Macron is speaking on the latest Israeli airstrikes in Iran, saying that France did “not take part” in the attacks.
Macron, Reuters reports, added that Iran “carries heavy responsibility in the destabilization of the region.”
He also said: “We can’t live in a world where Iran has nuclear weapons,” adding that “France calls on restraints from all parties” and that he “regrets Iran did not take overtures from the US.”
Nobody else carries any responsibility for destrabilising the Middle East apparently....and it's fine for the most deranged, violent, genocidal regime in the region to have nukes, but nobody else. That would be dangerous.
