46.20. Russia kicked Iran out of Syria. Doesn't bode well for Iran now.

"The Russians played an effective role in convincing Assad to drop Iran and any Iranian plane that would land in Syria needed the approval of the Russians first and Assad next."

Assad also forbade Iran and Hezbollah from firing one bullet at the Israelis.

"This current war against Iran helps Russia and China by distracting the US's attention away from both of those countries. If the US is deflecting weapons from Ukraine to Israel then that helps Russia."

Which suggests Russia and China won't be helping Iran any time soon. Might even suggest Russia is in some way responsible for this attack on Iran. Might explain why Russia is so friendly with Israel.

.. is that both Russia and China are distancing themselves from Israel, as we speak. I refer you to mark 08:35 odd of Sleboda's vid.

RF has had a policy of looking after Russian diaspora .. hence conflict in Ukraine etc. Initially, they had some sympathy with Russian Jews that emigrated from Russia. However, now geostrategic interests prevail.

Additionally, Chinese aircraft is currently delivering 'something' to Tehran. Fog of war is de rigour at the mo, but there are rumors. Etc. etc.

I shld have ignored the bit he seized on. It's not worth getting hung up on. And now he's grabbed you as well!

It's not important. It's just a spoiler.

But, while I'm here (not for long), as Sleboda points out some in the Russian government prefer Israel to Iran. And others probably lean the other way. And still others - if there's anybody left -subscribe to the notion, "A plague on both their houses".

But something happened in Syria that resulted in Russia kicking Iran and Hezbollah out of Syria. And eventually Russia lost Syria. That's what we should be focusing on. In my, not so humble, opinion. Eyes on the prize.

Yes, quite right, and I feel suitably and appropriately crushed and ashamed by not having read a book, article or even a tweet about Russia' friendly relations with Israel. Just as Mark Sleboda points out at 8m in the video you posted when he immediately responds to the comment that Russia had been "quiet" about the Israeli attack on Iran with a started "No they haven't! Putin condemned Israel (Sleboda's emphasis) for the attack. And then goes on to recount that some Russians left Russia when it launched the special military operation for attacking its neighbour and emigrated to Israel in protest -- at which point Sleboda and host fall about laughing and with no need to explain (except to an idiot) the fatuous logic of their outrage. So in future I'll have to pay closer attention to Mark's analysis because it's obvious I've been reaching the wrong conclusion. But anyway, many thanks, lesson learned.

Any more vids you'd like to share? I'm always eager to learn.
