Public service announcement. I posted a link to "The CIA: An Imperial History". Don't bother reading

it's absolutely rubbish. Utterly pointless, overly fawning about the "right type" of operative, skipping over all their crimes, and then ending up trying to paint conspiracy theories as all nonsense.
Really, shockingly pointless waste of time and potentially spooky retconning at worst.
The corporate media are complicit in the Gaza genocide. Never forget what they did. Never forgive them for it.

I'm fed up waiting for someone to accuse me of conspiracy theorising as I haven't been able to trot out my well-rehearsed spontaneous answer. I think I got this idea from a Rod Stewart song
"The big bosomed lady with the Dutch accent Who tried to change my point of view Her ad lib lines were, well rehearsed"
Was the Gleiwitz Radio Station incident a conspiracy? Was the Wanssee Conference a conspiracy? Was the Suez Crime a conspiracy? The Bay of Pigs? Tonkin Gulf? The British IMf 'loan' of 1976? The British collaboration in the Gulf War?The last working-class hero in England.

Not all conspiracy theories were bad for him though
sjust the one that made the CIA look bad or implied wrong doing by the right sort of people. Russiagate was fine for example
The epilogue on the GWOT, "Bloody" Gina Haspel (Poor Gina; she hired lots of women and people only remember all that water-boarding stuff), Enhanced Interrogation, John Kiriaku, etc. was particularly dreadful.
Did you know for instance the CIA "occasionally cooperated" in film productions? Only a couple, you know, rather than several decades of interference and propaganda. And the doubts about the "Zero Dark 30" narrative of getting to Bin Laden through torture didn't really have any substance. Go back to sleep. And there's no such thing as the deep state. Just silly Maga-speak.
Complete waste of time. Establishment horseshit with a (very) minor serving of comparison between imperial intelligence agencies and the modern day ones.
Waste your time if you want to, but I will be ready with one of your favourites: I told you so.The corporate media are complicit in the Gaza genocide. Never forget what they did. Never forgive them for it.
