Trump:"I don’t care’ that Tulsi Gabbard said Iran wasn’t close to having nuclear weapon"

Gabbard "The president and I are on the same page"

Her job is to tell the US president the truth on intelligence findings. Its not to tell him what to do. If I understand correctly she is DNI (director of national intelligence), not director of the NSC (national security council). The latter is an advisory body, to suggest actions. The former is an advisory body to provide intelligence assessments.

If she is fixing intelligence, she is scum. If she is telling the truth and he is ignoring it, then if she goes and is replace by a fixer, then the situation is worse than if she stays.
