However, Russia's attack on Ukraine has never been described as 'Ukraine's ongoing war with Russia', but, on the hour, every hour, as 'Russia's unprovoked full scale military invasion of Ukraine' -- even though it wasn't 'unprovoked', and 'full scale' is very specifically what it hasn't ever been..
And those war-crime missile attacks on the homes of high ranking military figures and scientists that killed entire famiies, some of them utterly unconnected with the targets? The BBC describes that as 'an extraordinary intelligence operation'...
